A family-built record, so that his work is not lost to time.
This site was built by the family of Guruvarya Abdul Hamid Miraso Jamadar — known throughout his public life as A. M. Jamadar — as a lasting, public record of his life's work — assembled from a bound photo album kept for decades, a handful of original prints, and newspaper clippings that had been carefully countersigned and preserved by the local education office in Kolhapur.
Nothing on this site goes beyond what these original materials record. Where a photograph's caption was faded, rotated, or otherwise not fully legible, that is stated plainly rather than guessed at. As more photographs, documents, or family memories come to light, this archive is intended to grow to include them.
